Regina Huda School Runway RHS… Winter in Paris(click) (INFO) The City of Lights got even more chic - if that's possible - as Huda School high school girls showed off the sponsors' fall and winter collections on the runway in Regina on November 22nd. WINTER IN PARIS had all of the elements of a perfect couture show; the setting, the inventiveness, the models, and - of course - the clothes that are a must-have for the fashion forward this season!
The girls strolled down the runway with grace and style, adorned in casual fashions from The Bay, formal wear from NWL Dress Shop and Jessica Bridal, and business-casual from Reitman's ( Rochdale) and Suzy Shier (Southland). These models were also primped to perfection with their hair and makeup from InSalon Spa and Clinique from The Bay. The finale featured traditional and elegant clothing from a variety of countries - a treat for the eyes that saw the models walking down the runway to the constant enthusiastic clapping of the crowd.
Only at Regina Huda School would such a unique event have such strong support by such a diverse crowd - old and young, traditional and nouveau - and generate such excitement and 'buzz'. Of course, events like this - ones that are specially tailored to our fantastic community - are what make us special.
Regina Huda Board and Mrs. Wilson, principal, would like to offer a sincere thank you to Ms. Hall, whose untiring leadership made the evening the success that it was; for the decorative background that made the evening truly Parisienne, courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Gunnlaugson; Muna for the delicious shwarmas, and to the fantastic contributors of door prizes that provided that little extra excitement to the crowd.
